Oh man, it looks awesome! My first question was who put it together for you, but I see it was Braden. Magic Bananas! I'm going to have to give that kid a call.
Personal criticisms: The minutes I saw "drawings" i read it as "dra- wings", lmao. you might want to consider reducing the kerning between a/w. (I was all like, whats a dra wing? Is it a creature? For like .5 secs. lol)
I cant help but notice your focal picture is a set of 2 images, the border, and the content. I have no idea how you set that up, but thats kinda amazing. It also gives you the opportunity to create multiple circular pics and randomly cycle through them in the border. I am curious why and how you made it that way. Oh wait, when you click the links, is it going to display in the frame, is that why? So, this is built with imbedded iframes, isn't it? It's a tad dated approach, but it works pretty well. I could be completely off too. xD
I would also consider making your copyright info a couple points smaller, a sans serif, and 1 line. possible lower too? over write the link settings (blue; underlined) too, so its not so glaringly obvious.
Another possibility, you would hafta see how it looks and if you like it, is aligning the page links differently. Right now they're all center aligned, possibly try so the ones on the right hand side are left aligned, and the ones are the left hand side are right aligned? The only reason I even mention this is because "3-dimensional" is rather long and throwing off the balance a tad.
I hope that didn't sound too critical, I think it looks really good! I'm excited to see the additional pages too. ^^
Oh, now that I look at "drawings" you're kind of right. XD As for the center image, yeah the frame is a separate image because the interior image will change when you hover over the different categories. As for how it's made... I have no idea. I'm not the programmer. XD
As for the copyright part, there's supposed to be a little text box in each of the four corners, so I'm not too worried about it being overly obvious when it's done. But my programmer hasn't finished yet, so there's not much I can do about that at the moment. I just made the assets and designed how it was going to be put together. I have no idea how to do any kind of programming. XD
a text box in each 4 corners? interesting. Ill hope youll post again when its finished. Yeah, I dabbled a tiny bit in web development. I'm not a great coder, but I some basic stuff under my belt. This was about the only thing I ever put out: [link]
