So, watching the oscars right now. They just did animated short and feature film, and I was super happy that Paperman got the award for short film. It totally deserved that one.
But not gonna lie, I was rather disappointed that Brave beat Wreck-it Ralph . I mean, Brave was okay, and yeah it's really pretty and all, but to me it was just kind of an "alright" movie. And I know I'm not alone in thinking that because most people that I've talked to about Brave seem to feel the same way- that it's good, but it's nothing super great. At least as far as story goes.
And when I ask people "Why do you like Brave?" and the only answer I get is "I like the girl's hair." and nothing about the story except maybe "the bears are cute" then I think it's safe to say that Brave isn't necessarily the "best" animated movie of the year. :/
