You're all invited!! by Turtle-Arts You're all invited!! by Turtle-Arts
Behold! The (not quite finished but almost done) invitation to my BFA show! We had to make invitations for the full-time faculty in the art department here at my school, and this is the front side of my invitations. The back has the actual information for the time/date/place of the show for the people receiving physical copies. The information is actually written here on the front too, but it's written in the language I designed for the project. The process book has a translation key that can be used to translate various passages throughout the book, and this as well. But the info's in English on the back for convenience. XD

I don't know if any of you are wanting to/capable of coming, but if you really want to, the show opens July 11th and is located in the Spori building on the BYU-I campus in Rexburg, Idaho. :dummy:

You mean to tell me that one of my favourite DA artists has been wandering around on the SAME CAMPUS AS ME. Ive never been more upset to be Fall/Winter!

Aww, well I'm not wandering around anymore. XD But I was always there in Fall, so I may have crossed paths with you once or twice. Were you around in the Spori a lot?

Haha. Are you glad to be out of there? And I was AROUND it, yes. I had a lot of classes in the Snow. My skills lie more in language and musical arts. I always wanted to go in and see what awesome stuff was going on in the Spori, but I never found the time.

Part glad, but I also miss my roomies and friends, so that's kind of sad. :< And I spent a pretty good amount of time in the snow. :> What's your actual major?

Yeah leaving friends is always sad. My major is actually nutrition now. Come September it will be my third semester, and I spent the last two taking foundations and as many arts as I could.  Unfortunately I just don't have the dedication to major in music and I'm too darn practical to let myself major in creative writing. Where do you think you're going to go now that you're leaving school?

Nutrition, eh? Well at least you'll always know how to eat healthy. XD
And I'm doing freelance for books right now with some different companies, but I'm trying to get in at either a game or animation studio. Doesn't really matter where to me at this point. I figure anywhere's good to get a foot in the door. :>

I do love food!
That's very cool. And very true about your foot in the door. It seems to me especially in artsy vocations like yours, people get the jobs they want in very roundabout ways by just squeezing in where they can and then showing their worth. Good luck! I hope you get what you want. :)

I'd love to come! But that would mean I had to save up money and travel to that location within 3 days, which I'm sadly not capable of :C Why must the world be so big!?!?!?
