The Swanby *Turtle-Arts

Artisan Crafts / Ceramics, Pottery & Clay / Ornaments & Objects

Another piece from my ceramics class. This was actually the first piece from the class that I decided to keep, as well as the first one I glazed. It was actually the fourth piece that I made, but the first one that I actually liked. XD The criteria for the project was to construct a piece from nothing but flat slabs. So I made a flower/swan. :I Stands just under 10 in. and weighs a butt ton.

Technique used- basic high fire

Wow...that's just beautiful

Beautiful glaze work!
Really like the lighting you used in the shot as well. Really gives it softer lines and texture.
And it may weigh a ton but at least it won't fall over

All of your ceramic projects are absolutely beautiful! ;u;

I particularly admire your creativity and imagination. What you came up with seems so far from the criteria you summarized. :b
I am not good at that and this is why I am awful at art classes. xD
