Okay, so one more goody for you guys and then you probably won't be seeing much from this project again any time soon.

I just figured I'd put this up because as of now, these are the most current (and presumably nearing final) designs for the three main protagonists in Sky Herder. This image was done purely for height reference (hence why the poses are so static) and for just a general feel of how the three designs look when placed all together- like how well the colors go together, and double checking whether all three costume designs mesh. (That's the reason why Toch got a new shoe design and why the other two got a little patterning on their clothes now) And something about Nezah seems a little off to me in this pic, but I'm too tired to figure out what it is right now. XD There may be some slight adjusting after I get my next critique, but they should be getting pretty close to having finalized designs, which means I can start working on the actual character vignettes. ^^

And for the record, Toch is a bit tall for his age (but he's also older than the other two), Mier is average size, and Nezah is a little shorter than average.

I really like the palette you've gone with. Is blue hair common in the Sky Herder universe? I'm really excited for seeing the finished book!

It's not blue. >_< Sorry, but this is becoming a mild annoyance to me when most everyone gets that it's black but a couple people still think they have blue hair. I can't use pure black for the hair since it wouldn't show decent shadows. And I didn't want them to have brown or red based hair, so I used blue-black instead. Which, blue is a very common substtitue for black in art, so I don't see why people are having a problem with it here.

Sorry, I'm ranting about this. >_<

Sorry, I just wasn't sure if it was a worldbuilding aspect you'd put in or not so I thought I'd ask. It makes perfect sense using blue instead of pure black, especially when you're going for a more neutral palette, I just wasn't sure was all

I feel like Nazah's butter-yellow dress is a little out of place with the earthy tones of the other two. :/ Of course, with earth tones, there aren't too many choices. She's adorable, of course. >///<
