No trees here, just rocks by Turtle-Arts No trees here, just rocks by Turtle-Arts
I am so annoyed right now. So I drew something peaceful to try and make me feel better. Didn't work.

Little Sky Herder landscape painting. Trees are very rare in their world, so the majority of the landscape consists of mountains and highland deserts, populated mainly by grasses, lichens, scrub plants, and weird rock formations. Also, there's no real clouds, which has been interesting to work with, since clouds are usually an easy way to set up compositions. But for Sky Herder, the sky is just kind of big and empty almost all of the time. Which, I'm not sure why I did that to myself because two of my least favorite things are big, barren desert landscapes with no trees, and cloudless skies- both of which feature prominently in this project. :iconheaddeskplz:

The sky looks really nice. I like how the colours curve.

Great drawing.

Great style and use of colours! I really like the world as you described it, and the picture captures it really well. I should really look up Sky Herder, it seems interesting, whatever it may be. Heh.
Anyway, I love it!

Thank you! ^^ And you won't find much about SKy Herder up anywhere because I haven't posted it anywhere. XD  It was my bachelor's project, that I'm working on developing into a webcomic (most likely) but there's not much up about it yet because I didn't want to post it.

Ah, I see. Seems like a great project to be (and have been) working on. If you don't mind, I'll be watching you from now on; should you change your mind and post it anyway ;)
Of course, the rest of your work is awesome as well, so I'll love to see your future updates on anything really. Thanks for creating everything you do!

Actually I can't stand Wyoming.  I think I may have a tiny bit of cenophobia and Wyoming's big empty empty landscape kind of weirds me out. XD I always hated driving through it. But it makes for good art. lol!
