An updated version of Mouse's App that finally includes his full team and current appearance! Also, he had a birthday recently, so he's 17 now. Hooray

Name: James “Mouse” Mullen
Age: 17 years
Height/Weight: 5’6”, 113 lbs.
Military Faction: Air Force
Extra Items: Skinning knife, pocket compass, dog tags, small bag of treats (Used as a reward for Grenich)

Personality: Mouse bears little resemblance to the good-natured teen who joined at the start of the war. During his service he has become cold, detached, and uncaring. He cares nothing for the feelings or wellbeing of others, and lives only to serve his own desires. At his best (least psychotic) times, Mouse is calculating and manipulative, using other people to shield himself. At his worst, Mouse is lethally unstable, and will not hesitate to kill anyone who finds themselves too close to him. Mouse’s psychosis is stimulated by excitement, aggravation, and anxiety, which makes a war zone about the worst possible environment for him to be in.

Mouse no longer fears physical pain as he once did, which makes him all the more dangerous as he is no longer hesitant to throw himself into combat. He is irritable and paranoid- suspecting that everyone around him is out to kill him, which is why he generally tries to get them first. The dark shadowing around his eyes comes from the fact that he rarely sleeps, and while this may have something to do with furthering his insanity, it seems to have little effect on any of his mental or physical functions.

Story: People have learned by now that Mouse is no longer the simple kid to be teased and toyed with, as anyone who crosses him is likely to end up rather worse for wear. Though slightly paranoid and biting beforehand, Mouse really didn’t change that much until his plane was shot down over Johto territory. He was not taken as a POW as he did not land directly in the war zone, instead landing more in the wilderness. Mouse was then left to try and find his way back to Kanto’s base on foot. It was the first time he had ever been forced into close combat, and it had a profound effect on the teen. Dogfights had never been hard for Mouse, as attacking another plane removed a lot of the human element of fighting. But having to actually fight his enemies face to face was a whole new game. It was in this situation that Mouse faced his first decision of whether to kill his foe with his own hands, or allow himself to be killed. He opted for the first choice, and it was a quick downward spiral from there. Mouse rapidly delved into the darker side of war, and developed a strong taste for klling. While at first he targeted only Johto recruits, he began to lose sight of the difference between them and his own people. Now he is a danger to anyone who crosses him, or is simply in the wrong place at the wrong time. However, Mouse is not unwise in his insanity- he knows how to avoid being caught by his own superiors. And though other people generally suspect what has become of the teen, as of yet they cannot prove his crimes.

Additional Info:
-He has had the nickname “Mouse” since he was a child, so now he is used to just giving it as his name.
-Very occasionally members of his family will refer to him as "Jimmy," but generally they just call him "Mouse" as well. He is usually only called "James" when he's gotten himself into trouble. Mouse does respond to the name "Jimmy" but not to "Jim."
-Mouse has a distaste for fire Pokémon due to a bad run in with a Growlithe as a small child. He has large burn scars down his left arm and side from this encounter. He usually wears long sleeves to cover the scarring, but lately he seems less concerned with it and will often push or roll his sleeves up a ways, making his scars more visable.
-He rarely disciplines his pokemon as Mouse has lost most of his concern for keeping them well-mannered. Now he actually reinforces more violent and wild behavior as it is more useful to him. However, his pokemon no longer question their master’s authority or try to test their boundries. They seem to recognize him as their leader and generally obey his commands without fuss.
-Mouse has one sibling- a 22 year old sister named Eva. Though he was always closer to her than to his parents, lately he has lost touch with her. She still writes him, but he does not return any of her letters.
-Mouse has lost his interest in any previous hobbies or comforts. He views most things as trivial and unimportant now.
-Along with the facial scars, Mouse also has three long scars across his right shoulder blade. These come from the same fight as the ones on his face.
-Mouse is naturally left handed, but he does most things with his right hand now since he couldn't use his left hand very well after being burned. Years of physical therapy and treatment restored functionality to his left arm and hand, meaning he is capable of using them, but he tends to use his right hand due to the mild discomfort caused by over stressing the scarred skin on his left side.
-Consequently Mouse has kind of bad hand writing.

Pokémon:

Grenich | Species: Hydreigon | Nature: Bold | Ability: Hustle |Gender: Male

Pokémon bio: Though Mouse chose Grenich on a whim, he has proven himself a tough and reliable partner. Now that he is fully evolved, Grenich is truly a force to be reckoned with. He is brutal and vicious, with the power to easily back up his fighty and proud attitude. Grenich does not fight to incapacitate his foe- he fights to the death and generally eats other pokemon that he has slain. And with three heads to feed, he is almost always hungry. However, in his Hydreigon state, all three heads seem to function more as one, and they no longer tussle and fight as they did in his previous stage. The central head is obviously the brains though, and the two smaller heads function more like extensions of the middle one. At times they actually act more like hands for the middle head, and Grenich often uses them as such.

Personality: Grenich is a cocky and self-centered pokemon. He enjoys fighting, if only for the sake of proving his own superiority. He is very dependable in battle as he will not stop until he wins. However, he has gotten better at taking an order of retreat when necessary as he seems to have realized that some situations are better left unfinished. Outside of battle, Grenich is rather like a spoiled and ill-tempered dog. He loves attention and praise, but only tolerates it from Mouse. Similarly, he gets jealous when the teen spends too much time attending to his other team members.

Cyrus | Species: Gengar | Nature: Impish | Ability: Levitate |Gender: Male

Pokemon Bio: Like Grenich, Mouse took Cyrus without really knowing what he was. In this case he ended up with a rather peculiar pokemon. Cyrus is an odd fellow, who can appear very sweet and docile at times, while at other times he seems to enjoy nothing more than causing as much chaos as possible. The expression on his face usually gives the impression that he has something unsavory on his mind... though that might also just be how his face is naturally. He doesn't seem particularly inclined to cause trouble for Mouse and is a fairly loyal team member. But he seems to enjoy playing tricks on other people and pokemon- some of which can be a bit dangerous.

Unbeknownst to Mouse, Cyrus is actually the driving factor behind the larger portion of his current mental state. Cyrus does not restrict his predation to other pokemon, and actually feeds on the teen’s mind when he sleeps. Through his dream eater and nightmare abilities, Cyrus has basically ripped his master’s mind to shreds, as well as instilled much of his own personality into the teen. History says that Gengars often feed on the souls and life of those they come across, and Cyrus seems to have taken a particular liking to Mouse. This may have something to do with why nearly any trace of Mouse’s previous personality has long since disappeared. It is clear that Mouse may have eventually suspected Cyrus as the instigator of his insanity, which is why he rarely sleeps anymore, but by the time he realized what was happening, it was already too late.

Personality: Cyrus is a mysterious and aloof pokemon. He is more concerned with his own satisfaction than the comfort of others. Unlike Grenich, he is very quiet and actually does not appear to have the capability to vocalize. This is probably because he does not have a proper functioning mouth with which to "speak." (Where his tongue resides is a bit of a mystery in itself) However, sometimes a soft clicking noise can be heard coming from his direction, similar to the sound of a dolphin's echolocation.

Goop | Species: Ditto | Nature: Sassy | Ability: Limber |Gender: None

Pokemon Bio: Goop is a shiny ditto that Mouse received for his high marks in training. At first Mouse thought Goop seemed a bit useless, but upon learning what dittos actually do, he realized that Goop was a potentially valuable team member. Goop can transform into any pokemon it has seen first hand, and is intelligent enough to take a form that has the advantage over whatever enemy it faces. Also, due to its nature as a shiny type, whenever it transforms it generally takes the shiny form of whatever it changes into. Goop can turn into people and objects as well and often enjoys turning into Mouse just for the fun of tricking other people. Though sometimes when it turns into Mouse it forgets key features such as his facial or burn scars.

Personality: Goop is mischievous and playful, but its jokes can quickly get out of hand and turn dangerous. It is usually cheerful, but depending on the form it takes, it can turn a lot more aggressive and wild. This makes Goop a versatile and dangerous combatant. It is also rather invasive and has little regard for other’s personal space.

Angela | Species: Noctowl | Nature: Adamant | Ability: Tinted Lens |Gender: Female

Pokemon Bio: Angela was Mouse’s fourth and last pokemon as he refused to take any more team members after her. As a hoothoot she was playful and friendly, but the nature of both her master and her teammates quickly turned her into a more serious bird. As a noctowl she is grim and serious, but also the most competent of Mouse’s team. She is rational and precise, and remains calm even in dire situations. She is also rather maternal, and though she is the youngest of the team, she acts rather like a den mother for the others and does not tolerate their mischief and wiles. As such, Mouse’s other pokemon tend to treat her more respectfully. She is a strong and brave bird and is fiercely loyal to Mouse, despite his relative lack of affection towards her.

Personality: Angela is a no-nonsense bird, and doesn’t tolerate childish or stupid behaviors. This means she often gets after Goop for its pranks and jokes. However, she is also caring and protective. She is stalwart and unyielding, as well as a fierce combatant as she will always fight against anyone she feels is threatening the safety of her team. Generally she is calm and well presented, though slightly vain. She spends a lot of time preening her feathers.

Lol, nowhere. XD It was kind of one of those you had to follow along with through the rounds things to get the specifics. But if you're really interested, I can sum it up for you?

Well let's see if I can do this without barraging you with an obnoxious wall of text. XD Basically it goes like this-

Mouse essentially ran away from home at 16 to join the military to prove to his dad that he wasn't weak/useless. He doesn't actually like pokemon that much (due to a bad experience as a child), but the military required troops to have them. Because of that, Mouse picked random pokemon without knowing what any of them really were. That's how he gets Cyrus (his gengar) who has a really nasty habit of eating little bits of Mouse's soul when he sleeps (a.k.a. dream eater) and replacing it with aspects of his own personality, as well as enhancing the already slightly paranoid and apathetic personality that Mouse had to begin with. So basically, the longer Mouse spends around Cyrus, the more like him he becomes. It wasn't really too bad until Mouse got his plane shot down in enemy territory (round... three I think it was?) and gets faced with having to fight his enemies directly face to face for the first time. So at that point it was either kill or be killed, and Mouse opted for the first road. After that it's a pretty rapid decline to the point where Mouse is just totally screwed over by Cyrus essentially. :I It's kind of one of those things where by the time Mouse started to realize what was going on it was already too ingrained for him to fix it. Plus, the more like Cyrus Mouse becomes, the less he feels emotions like guilt or remorse, so it eventually gets to the point where he doesn't even really care. And that's the point where Mouse just decides it's reasonable to kill whoever he feels like, whether it's enemy troops, civilians, or troops on his own side. But he's very clever and smart about it, so for the time being he's managed to avoid being caught. It's not that people don't know what he's done, it's just that they don't have any proof yet.

Yes okay, that's about as brief as I can make it I think. XD

Lol, it's okay, a lot of people seem to like him. And considering I draw him pretty frequently... well, I like him too. XD
