I wanted to draw a guy on a motorcycle… wanted… wanted?.. WANTED???!!! *music plays from nowhere* WAAAAAAANNNNTTTTEEEEDDDD!!!!!! DEAD OR ALIVE!!!!!
Wanting to draw a bike made me end up with this song stuck in my head all day yesterday, so I decided to do this after work and promptly remembered that motorcycles are hard to draw. Check one point for the reference folder.
Also, I’m not much of a Bon Jovi fan, but I can’t deny I really enjoy this particular song. It’s a lot of fun to sing mid conversation.

There’s a snake in the carriage
That is lacking no courage
Oh baby, don’t play with that rattle
But baby does what she knows how to do
Ugh I'm sorry there's been a lot of Mouse lately. I just really like drawing him. >_< And whenever this song comes up in my shuffle it always makes me think of Mouse and Audrey. And it kept coming up the other day, so I finally just buckled down and drew something for it. The song is “Red, Red, Blue” and it’s a personal favorite, but weirdly I can’t find it anywhere online, and almost everywhere you look the lyrics are written differently. Strange.
One of these days I’ll draw these two in a proper pose where you can tell that Mouse is actually like 3-4 inches shorter than Audrey. Short babby, tall girlfriend. XD But I promise I'll draw something else for a bit.

95% percent of the time the very first question I get asked when I tell people what I do for a living is “Do you like/draw anime?” Does anyone else have this problem other than me? Or do I just have a face that screams “Ask me about anime?” Because people always ask me this and then I have to go through the process of explaining my opinions on anime and it gets really tedious after all these years.
Not only is it October 1st, but it’s also Webcomic Wednesday! So have a new Sky Herder page my lovelies! Almost didn’t get one done for today, but I managed to finish it last night. October’s going to be tight on pages with my workload though. But I’ll do my best to keep a weekly update!

Self promotion time!! Woo! Who wants to know what I do for a living? I’m a freelance illustrator, so I work for a lot of different companies, but this company, All Play, No work, is one of my main clients right now, and our project is getting ready to launch soon. Which means I’m gonna talk about it a little, because I think it’s really neat and I’m really looking forward to its release. (Should come out in late November/early December. And we are busting our butts prepping for launch. Hence my post yesterday about my obnoxiously large workload for the next month)
This is the project I work on- The Incredible Tales of Weirdwood Manor. We call it a “living novel” because it’s intention is to combine a novel, and animated film, a video game, an audio book, a story builder, etc, all into one big, interactive experience. I’m a lead illustrator and creature/character designer. Unfortunately, you won’t see any of my work in this trailer as I was brought in a little later. My stuff won’t really show up until maybe, chapter 3 I think?
But I am really excited for this project. The more and more I see of it, the more excited I get to play it when it comes out. I think it’s going to be great, and I hope you guys can get a little excited for it as well! And I would absolutely adore you if you’d help me spread the word! (Because also, if the project sells well, it may give the studio enough money to hire me in-house, and that would be lovely. They’re a great group of people who have a lot of passion for their project.)
